The Lakewood Red Lobster has always been exceptionally well-run and clean with excellent unpretentious service. It's both friendly and competent. It's a very poor part of the state so a steady job at Red Lobster is good work; that's why they get good help. There's a blind fellow who's been working there for a couple of days a week for years now.

I grew up in an area where pizza was taken seriously. You were an Aurelio's guy, or a Sanfratello's guy, or possibly a Geneo's guy, if you played softball (16", slow pitch, bare hands - Chicago style!)and liked pizza with your beer, rather than the other way around.

Blue points (cold water oysters) are $7.50 for six, $13 for 12. Gulf oysters are $4.50 for six, $8 for 12. I had a dozen blue points and a half dozen warm water oysters.
