Just what Bloor and Bay needed- another storefront operation to draw more foot traffic and vehicular traffic to the area. City planning-related sarcasm aside, I happen to have been at the Manulife Centre this weekend and saw the lines to get into the joint, which were ridiculous.

i've actually taken the knife skills course at GBC as a quick intro for what i might expect. the course was good in that i've developed better habits in terms of cutting but in the end seemed rather expensive. the instruction was fairly good but i've heard others who have had less luck with it.

Hi kids, Just a side note, if you're stuck with having to make a quick stop at a fast food joint, A&W makes an McMuffin clone that is massively superior to McDagwoods, as is their cavendish hash brown patty, which I slip INTO the sandwich, along with a shot of ketchup for a surprisingly tasty and decadent sandwich that tastes more like diner food than heat-lamp fare.

The other place is beside my work. I believe it's called Carribean Kitchen. It's near Jarvis and Bloor behind the Swiss Chalet in the Greenwin mall. It's a tiny operation but man is it ever good.
